Bend, OR (November 10, 2016) – Bringing a trifecta of creative design, a deep understanding and passion for user experience, and business acumen, UX designer Vanessa Cahill has joined Manzama to bring a new face and functionality to its industry-leading content intelligence platform and products.
Vanessa applies a unique perspective and skillset to her role, with a combined degree in Human Computer Interaction and Graphic Design from revered Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. With background as a graphic designer, creative director as well as a Senior Product Designer for New Relic, Inc. of Portland, Oregon, she possesses both creative front-end and back-end design experience, uniquely equipping her to understand both user needs and aesthetics, as well as intuitive functionality and an ability to work closely with engineers to enhance user experience.
“I’m excited about the size and the pace of this company. There’s a really big opportunity to make the design an organizational thing, and working with the product team to make the Manzama experience feel really cohesive and strong. It’s a very rare opportunity, I think.”
Vanessa will be working closely with both the technical team and the product team to enhance the platform’s design and appearance, as well as evaluating the Manzama mobile application user experience.
“We are very excited to have Vanessa join our team,” said Manzama COO and co-founder Mark HInkle. “Vanessa brings a wealth of experience and talent, most recently having worked at New Relic, which offers a very robust and complex product that she played a key part in making easier to use and understand for their user base. We look forward to incorporating Vanessa’s suggestions, designs, and leadership as we continue to strive in making the Manzama product best in class for our global user base.”
