UK Content & Data Analyst

Manzama is a leading news aggregation and market intelligence platform for law firms and other professional services organisations. Manzama’s clients include some of the largest law firms in the UK. They look to Manzama to help them deliver current awareness to their stakeholders who are lawyers, marketers, business developers and knowledge professionals whose objective is to be alerted to news that could impact their or their clients’ business. The Content & Data Analyst will report to the Director of Client Success – Europe and the position will be located in the Manchester area. As a member of our team, your responsibilities will be focused on database management, web-content research, search construction and QA testing. To be considered for this role you will be a dynamic and positive individual who is able to work autonomously. The Analyst will need to possess excellent organisation, time management, team and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus. Communication skills, both written and oral, are critical as this role requires some client contact. Hard-working and motivated, you must be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload. Ideally, you will have some experience working in or with professional services firms.

The successful candidate will receive extensive training and support from the Manzama team.


The right candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent at analysing large amounts of complicated information
  • Ability to evaluate the strengths of online content and news sources
  • Capable of distilling complex data
  • Experience with taxonomies, Boolean searches and categorisation of different types of information


Exposure to Boolean query construction, SQL or other query language(s).

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with taxonomies and web content curation.

Love of technology and a talent for understanding the way software works.

Ability to learn back-end software administration systems quickly.

Attention to detail.

Excellent communicator with ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and changing priorities.

Capable of working independently and taking accountability for work.

Team oriented.

Holds a relevant BSc or a BA from a reputable university or are on a path to obtain an equivalent degree.

Willing and able to work from home up to 3 days per week with a company based outside the UK (occasional evening calls/meetings).
